The feature is very nice....
Every one of the three rental VW's I had ( all different models) in Germany on "my assignment" ( as some of you know)...had an adjustment feature. The newer VW's used a thumb-wheel on the dash...and I could hear a small servo motor churning to adjust up/down a few degrees.
It helps with fuel / cargo load issues , as well as the kind of surroundings you have at the time ( foggy forest at night or a long Autobahn run in the clear).
