From Bruce Anderson's "Porsche 911 Performance Handbook" page 43:
91=911 93=Turbo
A=1980
0=plant manufactured
1=spacer number
4=911SC for the US 3=ROW 7=930
remaining four digits are the serial number.
1980 was the last of the ten digit vin numbers.
