Cindy Sheehan certainly has her own political views and agenda that are separate from that of her dead son, (and that I may not agree with entirely), but it does not make her wrong about Iraq. Obviously, it would have been better for the anti-war movement if they had a more demure military Mom camped outside Bush's ranch, like say maybe a moderate Republican who doesn't talk much, but Rove and the RNC/talk radio would still have managed to slander her. It just would not have been so easy.
As for Chavez and the rest of the leftist leaders getting elected in Latin America, better get used to it. The traditional choice down there has been either a socialist or a right-wing dictator. When free/democratic elections occur, the socialist wins most of the time. It's hard to get the masses behind the right-wing dictator. Maybe Rove needs to open a school down there for campaign managers, show them how to hang a bogus child-molester charge on their opponent, that sort of thing.
