That is one of the fairly common Craigslist scams, filching some pictures from an ebay listing and offering the item for considerably less than the top bid. It is a classic "if it seems too good to be true....." scenario, but someone's greed and stupidity will cause them to send a large deposit to "secure the sale".
As for the price of diesel, it sucks on so many levels. Planes, trains, ships and trucks run on it, and it is one of the countless unplanned for and unintentional consequences of invading Iraq. I would love to know how many millions of gallons (a day?) has been diverted from normal U.S. supplies for that. ******* Ralph Nader.
