I was driving in Canada and got a speeding ticket. As soon as the cop left I ripped it up. They sent me notices to my address but I ignored them, and eventually they just gave up. I'd better not try to enter Canada again though.
Never resulted in points on my CA record.
Basically, canadian tickets have as much force and authority as the Canadian military.
