Alex, yea your right on the one hand... I do have a that whole go off on a tangent thing... going must be my ADD...
But I also was not defending my abilities...
I am saying that I can do it, so I know anyone can that has a mind to do it, even if thats learning as you go.
Its about thinking outside the box, at least out side the box with PORSCHE stamped on it.
What I am trying to communicate is that I could do it and would do it as inexpensive as possible. To me FUNCTION is more important than Form.
I will post more pics after dinner.
Let me clear something else up, Yea I build stuff, yea I sometimes am motivated to duplicate it and sell, but not to make $$$, only to be able to put more stuff on my car or another... in other words I could care less about making a profit or any such thing or if anyone else in the industry makes one. What I do care about is seeing more cars with more power and everyone saving a buck or more doing it.
What I am trying to say is I dont want people thinking its all about me selling something. Buy your own stuff and I will tell you how to do it. That simple. If I buy something at wholesale I pass the savings along to anyone who wants one... kind of thing.
My comments about the $$$ earlier are about people spending way to much money building their dream car. I
ts easy to get caught up in the industry, lots of mis-information and mis-direction to sell hi-tech junk. Crazy stuff... I am on a mission to spread Boost... to everyone willing to go that route and I HATE with a passion the mentality you have to buy a 951 to get it.
For one... you dont need EFI to make power, you can take a Carb and a supercharger or turbos and make insane amounts of power... some words from another post of mine:

Super Ford Magazine (July 2000)
JBA Performance built a 5 liter Ford used a A4 block and Crower crankshaft (cheaper than a typical crate motor) and 30 psi boost to develop over 900 hp.
Boost was provided by a Paxton Novi supercharger which wore the belt out every 30 passes down the old 1/4 according to the article -- which proves that reliability was good enough to run the car on a regular basis.
The only serious issue being belt replacement on the Paxton.
What is unusual about this Ford is the cheap, clean simple induction system.
JBA used an "out-of-the-box" Holley Dominator 1250 cfm carb on a DRAW-THRU system.
No fuel injection and no intercooler, or other hi -junk- tech.
The whole induction system is simple as it gets with a JBA shop built manifold on the inlet side of the Paxton Novi supercharger and an Edelbrock Victor Jr intake manifold delivering everything to the engine.
For low bucks racing, this system is hard to improve on if you're trying to race on a budget.
