Congrats! I always tell people, if I knew how much fun kids were, I would have given in to my wife and agreed to have one sooner. Our son is 22 mo old now, and we're starting to think about another. Funny how they make you re-evaluate your life, isn't it? I think you have the right idea, and it sounds as if you're putting the best interests of your family first. Being debt free with a large nest egg to invest is the best possible situation, I can't imagine a better start to a family. Again, congratulations!
