You say the rods were replaced? how many miles ago? Were the bearings changed? Were the clearances checked with a plastigauge before assembly?
If the bearings were changed and fitted properly, what weight of oil were you running? was there any coolant mixed with the oil?
7K running shouldn't really affect the bearings, unless the clearances were too far open, or the oil was too thin, or the oil flow to that particular journal was inadequate. Not a good idea to hang around at that rpm for long periods of time, but i would suspect valvetrain problems would happen long before bearing problems.
If you're going to try to save that crankshaft, it'll need to be ground undersize, and you'll need the proper bearing for the undersized journal.
