We went shopping for some fabric to make a nice shower curtain a few years ago. Went to an upscale place, got stroked (i.e., ego) by a hottie trying to sell us the latest patterns etc. She had all the right moves, chatted me up about her motorcycle etc., batted her lashes, made sure to be "touchy"...blah blah blah. Turns out all told the material for the shower curtain would've ended up costing us $700. SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS.
I turned around and left. Of course having my wife there with me made it a lot easier!
