Fuel problem I think or electrical
Hiya guys,
I recently had a CDI unit failure. After replacing it with a CDI unit from an old Mercedes with a new coil and a new wiring harness, the car starts fine but revs when cold at 2000rpm and when hot at 1200rpm.
Also fuel, when i turn the ignition on the fuel pump does not make a sound and does not start. It is a probem which happens once a week. If i leave the car its fine after a while. Any ideas guys.
Could it be a fuel problem, eg pump/relay. Or is it electrical.
