Well, after getting the Rennwagen poster, I decided it was too cool to just go in a garage. It's now framed and hanging in my bedroom:
The two gas station signs were naturally moved to the garage:
Here's a story for you guys. I finally got around to setting up my air compressor Friday afternoon. Now, let me preface this by saying that when my roommate used to park his car in the garage, before it became my kingdom, he very rarely closed the garage door...
... well, the air compressor box had been open in the garage since Christmas. So here I am breaking down the box, and I see something small and furry fall out. I think to myself, "oh great, now I'm gonna have to chase a mouse out of here..."
So I lift up the big piece of cardboard that fell on top of the critter... which is when it spread its wings and started shrieking at me! BAT! I run out of the garage.
Well, I got the bat out of there and shined the floodlights up into the rafters to see if there were any more. It didn't look like it, but who knows. my guess is that that poor guy got trapped in the garage when I started locking the door, and he sought out the warmest spot possible (inside this box).
In any case, I will be rolling up the windows of the 944 when it is left overnight in the garage from now on.
All that is really left to do in the garage is build a workbench. I plan on building it right under that window, and the air compressor will be stored underneath.
