I've owned BMW's and they are great cars, but not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination. The Subaru WRX STi has raised my eyebrows a couple of times on the street and autocross
All wheel drive, 300 HP at $33,000 seems hard to beat (although at 41 years old it seems a little boy racer to me)
