Nothing like the sound of 40 2-strokes roaring to the first turn, then quiet, then WFO again. I am feeling all warm and fuzzy now! I can almost smell the Klotz oil! Worst case back in the day was a new crank maybe. Now we are talking complex head, cams, timing chains etc etc.
I do not even want to know what a smashed titanium exhaust system costs!
BTW, if anyone is interested I have my daughters 1999 CR 80 and 2000 KX 80 for sale for $1000 each.
