I pulled the engine down to the point where the rods were sticking out of the case. I am probably going to pull a couple rods out to see how the bearings look. From there.... who knows.

Great job, keep the photos coming, my 87 w/ 180k will need a rebuild in its future. Would like to see all the steps (photos) of your rebuild and any tips that go along with it.
