funny thing is - this was the first time he ever walked in on us. In the past he actually helped get his little sister out of the bathroom after she locked herself in and didn't want to open the door. We could have easily unlocked it but being 6 and eager to figuer things out, he actually was able to open the locked door. He must have remembered how.

As for knocking - we never have any doors closed at our home. Maybe this is a good opportunity to teach him about knocking on closed doors before entering!
