PS That is one big ass bar on that Stihl--what exactly do you cut with that?
Thanks, I'll be looking.

That's a 28 inch bar, and it's a handful, though that's a 440 Magnum and is rated for up to a 32 inch bar, I'd sure hate to use it much with a bar that large. I have trees that are 10 to 20+ inches in diameter that need taking down, mostly pines, but some tulip trees as well. I'll probably have to hire someone to take some of them out, location and I don't want to destroy all the trees around a big one when it comes down, and it's dangerous for some of them to not top them first. I don't do high climb tree cutting.

The small saw is a real jewel It's a 200T, an arborist saw. weighs about 6 pounds with the lightweight 14 inch bar, and cuts like crazy. Rated at 2.2 horsepower, I use it to delimb trees before I skid them out of the woods, and cutting smaller trees. Because of the top handle, and balance, you can use it one handed easily. It runs much more often than the big saw.

I have friend that's q Stihl dealer and went with his recommendations on the saws, he's been in business for 35 years and pretty much knows his stuff. Very happy with these tools, and a few others I've purchased over the years. The 550 leaf blower is something else. Four stroke engine in that one.
