Open or Closed?
There is a small vent hose that goes from the passenger side of the expansion tank (on top of the gas tank), to where you fill the tank with gas - just below the gas cap. the vacume hose attaches to a small metal tube under the gas cap. this metal tube where the hose attaches to is open. But on my car, the other end (by the gas cap) has been closed - like it had been crimped on the top and bottom. Is this end of the tube supposed to be closed? Are all 914's like this? Mine is a '73 1.4L.
