My friend just bought a blue '99 M3 Dinan and we went for a drive through the twisties today. His car is really nice, no doubt and so is my Porsche. I really like my Porsche (I'm emotionally attached to it!) but the constant things that need attention are starting to get to me (the rattling while driving, non-effective defroster, other little things). I talked with another friend (not a car enthusiast) and said that me selling my Porsche would be like selling "myself". I guess I just want the luxuries and the power combined that the M3 offers. Another thing that is coming up is college... I really need a reliable car for college. The Porsche has been pretty reliable so far, but you never know when it can leave you stranded, being a 30 year old car. Ahhh, so many conflicting emotions

. The problem is, is that I want an M3 as a daily driver, having the luxury, power, and the "stand out" quality, but I love the raw, racy, aircooled Porsche. I will probably keep the Porsche throughout the rest of highschool, I'm just thinking about if I should keep it through college. What do you think?
