Welllllll... I kind of blame the dumb-a$$ media for hyping the guy like he was superman and saturating us with pictures and stories about him before the Olympics even started. They practically guaranteed he was going to bring home the medals.
But yeah, not the brightest bulb on the tree as it were. I mean this was a major career opportunity for him. You think he could have stopped parting for a few weeks for the chance to become a millionaire.
But unfortunately then there is no shortage of famous people in America flushing their lives down the toilet.
