You guys have it easy. Rust isn't so much of an issue.
In WA. state, if it's outdoors it's probably wasted - we have to start looking in garages and behind fences.
My Pontiac was under a tree, in this Chevy dude's backyard, complete and flooded from rain since 1997 (AC car from AZ). Towed it to the shop, power washed the car inside and out, poured some gas down the carb, fresh battery and it fired up. We were driving around without even changing the oil!
