I usually put the ramps just outside the garage, where the driveway has a slight downward angle. I have not raised the front of the car. I use the Rhino ramps, not a severe rise to cause any problems with retained oil. I change the Boxster every 5,000 miles with Mobil 1 0-40W and a new filter.
