I spent five years in Phoenix before moving up to Seattle....

And I hate it here. HATE IT! You do realize it rained for 40 days straight, right? Cold, drizzly, grey, everything soggy. I had no idea my Porsche had a leaky windshield until I moved here. I hardly drank coffee until I came here, but you have to just to help stave off the inevitable depression that follows week after week of gloom. I think it's no coincidence that an alarmingly high percentage of the most famous mass murders take place in the Pacific Northwest. Oh, and speaking of the people, everyone around me is a Boeing or Microsoft engineer, and people get their food from co-ops. I feel like I'm surrounded by nerds and hippies. Like to do anything outdoors? You've got about 2.5 months of inconsistently good weather to do it. I like to race cars, and fully one half of the races I attended last summer were in the rain. I'm getting the hell out of here in about 18 months, God willing, and I can't wait. Hate it. Just, hate it.
