Confusing -- tell me about it. Girls will get married in every sense of the word except having a wedding -- they'll live with a guy for 10 years, bear his children, all that rot -- and not ever bother to get a ring. They continue to go to bars where single guys are known to hang out, and they continue to dress seductively. Meanwhile, they seem confused about why they get hit on. I don't know if it's intentional disrespect for their partner, complete lack of knowledge about how that aspect of social communication operates, or just some bizarre nuance of our modern culture that us old-fashioned types need to get used to.


This is a very great mystery.
