I'm getting a little annoyed at people ignoring social conventions... like wearing a ring when you're married, raising your children, and getting married to BE married, and STAY married.
I would think that a woman that doesn't wear a ring doesn't want people to know she's married. She's not proud of being married, and she's not proud of being 'attached' to her husband. She might be keeping her options open, just in case the BBD comes along.
nomarriage.com lined it out pretty well nowadays... some women get married, have a couple kids, wait until they can gain from it, then divorce the husband and live vicariously at his further expense. Men are being used. Now, this is not all cases, but I think it will become more the norm. Marriage will be a means to an end to a lot of women, and men will have less and less incentive to get married.
