I have a thead in the 944 forum (
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?postid=2451887#post2451887) where I'm stripping all of the crap electronics out of my car. Earlier this evening, I tore out the factory radar detector and cellphone system. It also has the factory alarm, for which almost nobody seems to know anything about.
Is the alarm in my car the same that is used in the 80's 911s? If so, removing it from my car should be the same as it was for you guys, right?
Any ideas about how I should go about this?
