Did you read the back of the can of brake cleaner to check if it is safe to use on aluminum. Brake cleaner deteriorates rubber and plastic if its not cleaned off quickly. Im not clear on aluminum but I would rinse the parts of the engine you sprayed the cleaner on with water to be safe....TargaEuro
