That's not a bad suggestion (Unix), as I used to program in it. But its been so long, that it would take a very long time to upgrade/transfer over the server.
I have been using Win2K now for about 2 months on this server (along with a new Dell Machine), and I have been very happy. The BBS software is the one at fault here. I keep trying to bring the problem to their attention, but they are a bit arrogant over there. We're one of the largest BBSs running their software on the internet, so they haven't really seen heavy traffic problems. They have a new version out, but I'm not sure (looking at the architecture) that it will improve things...
