Went with one piece tail, no rubber lip; the rubber lip makes the tail look too big, and frankly, I want it to look like it fits and is less noticeable.
I spent the weekend taking everything off. What a nightmare that was...someone said a few hours; guy must have been dreaming, and I sanded and stuff the places I wanted to get at. Basically, did their job for them, and it only took a week for them to do it (they were impressed with the rubberless, topless, door panelless car they got!)
They still f'ed up some spots, but basically this car is a daily driver that I use and abuse. I want it to look good, but it's not a garage princess. In other words, I can hang with the 1200$ paint job!
The tail I have weighs around 25 lbs maybe? The front spoiler another 3 or 4 lbs.
