As an outsider and tourist with several trips under my belt here's what I'd say.
Getty Museum is awesome if you're into that stuff - view and architecture is amazing.
Drive whataver you have through Beverly Hills and up onto Mulholland.
Have a drink with your wife at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica some night.
Eat fish taco's at...can't remember, in long Beach.
Rent a bike and ride Venice Beach.
Dream about winning the lottery.
