1. Petersen Museum on Fairfax and Wilshire.
2. Getty Museum off of the 405 and Sunset. Great view.
3. Getty Museum on PCH in Pacific Palisades. Great setting. Just reopened after over 10 years closed.
4. Lunch at the beach. Maybe Gladstones near the Getty.
5. Agree with Dan, Huntington Library. Incredible gardens including Japenese, desert, palm, etc.
6. If you have not been to LA before, you might want to do the touristy stuff: Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd, Melrose Ave, etc. Including visits to Rodeo, the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (great bathrooms), Grahman's Chinese Theater, Santa Monica Pier, Marina del Rey (Fisherman's Village), etc.
