You need to replace the immobilizer box and have it programmed by Porsche. If you have keyless entry, and it is not possible to extract the coding from the old immobilizer, you will have to replace your key-heads as well

$350.00+ for the immobilizer
costs for programming
$150.00 each for the key heads.

The down side is, from time to time, a bad immobilizer (wet) can take out other servo motor driven components connected to it:

Hood and trunk release
door latches
instrument cluster
DME
etc

Budget at least $500 for this repair, do not be surprised if it goes higher than that. I've seen repairs for this go over $2500.
