If it's a 4 speed then send it to me. I'll make sure it gets driven from time to time. Wouldn't want the wifey's car to sit and atrophy.
You could send me one of the porsches too if you need to. And what model year are the daughters (crap, did I say that outloud? j/k) I understand, my stepdaughter is 21 and my stepson is 22. The insurance goes down, but when you add college you are right back where you started.
Yep, those old mini's rock. The new mini's are cute and probably make a really fun daily driver, but I'd really LOVE to have something like the one in the pic for the occasional fun car.

It is a 4 speed. At a sustained 70 mph, it feels like the big block 396 is revving it's guts out! The gearing is fine for 55mph, but 70-80 sustained just feels wrong in this car. It will get "scratch" in all 4 gears on the right kind of pavement (actually just a slight "chirp" in fourth). The damn thing wheel hops like a mother in first and second (I think the suspension joints are all ineed of a rebuild). I just despise the car, but it was my wife's first husband's (deceased) pride and joy. I got it running for a couple of summers about 7-8 years ago (had the heads re-done and replaced the transmission) and I just cannot get into the whole muscle car thing (it is the only American car we still own). I still start and drive it a few times a year to keep things moving, but I have no interest in doing much with it presently. I wish she would agree to sell it, but that is never going to happen!
