My group here at work is all guys, network engineers. One of our members has a wife who works in the city CSI lab. She's just come in from another large city and is reorganizing and cleaning up the local lab.

I'm in his office a minute ago just shootin' the bull and she calls. He was quiet for a minute, got an odd tone in his voice and I heard him say, "I'll let you ask. I'm putting you on speaker phone." I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was quite surprised.

"Hey guys, we are getting our DNA lab going again, so next Monday I'm going to send Wes in with some sample containers. Can you provide semen samples?"

Yep, she's dead serious. I don't think I've ever had a woman ask for semen. Maybe to warn them when it was coming, but not request it specifically.

So, next Monday, our buddy will show up with several sample containers. yeah...

So, what's the weirdest request you've ever gotten at work? I bet mine tops it.
