Here's one for ya:
There is a kid in HS around the corner from me and his dad had a nicely set up jeep wrangler. It looked pretty sweet. Lifted, rims, offroad lights, nice sounding muffler, two tops, etc... The dad offered it to his kid who didn't want it so his dad sold it to the guy that lives across the street from me and the kid got a black mustang 4cyld mid 90s with gold wheels and gold random pin-striping on it. It is one of the ugliest cars I think I've ever laid eyes on. What was that kid thinking?

one up ya -
Guy a year behind me gets a numbers matching 67' 389 tri power GTO black / black laquer in absolutely showroom condition from dad. Dad restored it since he owns a well known body shop in Seattle.
Kid drives it for about 6 months, and decides he wants a Mazda B2000 lowrider. It gets sold within 24 hours of listing on the autotrader to some dude in BC who showed up like 48 hours later with a trailer.
To this day, I don't think I've ever seen a nicer one than Kelly's..
Back then, we were laughing at the guy- I was in shock. He wasn't the smartest kid...
His new truck was a standard cab stripper to boot.
