It is nice to know muscle is still alive at certain HS. I am thinking of what was around when I attended:
Petty Blue 72 'Cuda with putty on every panel
70 camaro split bumper with way too wide rear tires, traction bars, gold centerlines and primered/putty quarters
74 camaro with an L-88 hood and metal bumpers painted to look like a Z-28
79 Camaro Z28--brown 4-speed with T-tops(nice car)
71 Challenger--very nice
69 Firebird convert. with a huge ram-air set-up--very nice untill he put those cheesy "Cruisin" rainbow decals along the doors
several 82-newer Irocs/Firebirds
a very fast 75 Nova
a BB 70 Monte Carlo--triple black
a Nos-equipped 80 Z28
a buddy of mine had an 82 Vette
a 68 Vette
another buddy had a 327-powered 64 Impala SS hardtop which he did a frame-off on--he still has it a very nice ride
a 454-powered 77 chevy Cheyenne 2wd pick-up.
a 68 Cougar
a 72 chevelle SS
a teacher had a blue '83 944 which he bought new
My GF had an 88 Celica All-Trac turbo 5-spd, which was a fantastic sleeper, and I had a beat to hell 79 Jeep Wagoneer, which I sold for 500 bucks and then got a 79 924.
those were the days.
