Whether or not she is concerned about ratings is irrelevant. One can care more for agenda than ratings and still have a show; this is demonstrated regularly by the leftists who dominate the media and academia. One, on the other hand, can be ratings focused and realize that the best way to bolster ratings is by objectivity and truth...This explains FoxNews and why liberal talk-radio fails (liberal talk radio is exceptionally difficult for liberals because debate destroys them quickly).
I would be happy if journalists announced their beliefs before launching into an obviously biased news report. What I love about the Conservatives is that they do not hide their beliefs and pretend objectivity....The top journalists for the major networks are all lefties--Wolf Blister, George Steponallofus, Bob Schiffer, Dan Blather, Tim Russet, Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman, Katie Couric, etc, etc, etc...Seems the monopolistic left media only has room for anti-war Republicans like Scarborough and Carlson. When the left media has a Republican on, he is buried by lefties in often a 3to1 ratio or at best a 3to2 ratio, and dog-piled on, or simply referenced out of context and then demonized (Ann Coulter comes to mind).
FoxNews and Conservative talk radio at least do an honest job at objectivity, as opposed to hiding behind a false front of journalism.
