True story:

I have a friend who used to bartend at an upscale hotel bar in Washington, D.C. Did it for years. He told me the Democrat politicians would come in an have a drink or two and then they all sort of disappeared to make phone calls, and would stick the last one there with the bill. The Republicans would drink lots and get *****faced and fight over who was going to pay the bill. He said it was that way for years.
