I look forward to watch the Shield every week. Their technical advisors are very good. One is a former LAPD Southeast cop who knows his stuff. They were filming in the area I work earlier this year, so I had to pay them a visit. I met them and offered to take them on a ride along to get a taste of the "real stuff." Lem was the only one who agreed. All were very very cool, especially Shane (Walton).

As far as the show goes, I love and hate Vic. He killed the informant cop in the first episode, so I cannot ever accept him. However, his methods are old school stuff. Glen Close was outstanding as the Captain. They should have kept her because she was very powerful. She could have checked Vic and the crew. Forrest is despicable! I hate everything about him. When Vic hooked up with Forest's wife, I was cheering! Shane is a loose cannon and is going to give Vic a run for his money.

I liked Lem, but he was going to crack. There were no if's, ands, or buts. I look forward to the next season.
