No, but not for lack of trying. One of the injectors on my '72 CSi sprung a leak between the plastic and metal portion of the injector body, pumping raw fuel all over the top of the engine. The smell tipped my off, and that's when I decided to replace all six injectors, @ $175.00 each.

I'd already replaced all the rubber hoses, the main culprit in engine fires these days. If the rubber in the fuel system is more than 7-10 years old, you're on borrowed time.

And yes, that applies to our P-cars too.
