The Loctite 574 "Flachendichtung" can be translated as "Flat-surface sealer" and indicates to me that it is designed for the very purpose of getting two finely machined/polished surfaces sealed.
Is there a way that you could upload the instructions in German?
I could translate for future use things like: What thinner to use? Drying-time? Resistance to gasoline?
