They did it with the Cayenne - offering the V8 and V8 Turbo versions before the base V6, so why not with the Cayman?
I think it was kinda obvious by calling it the Cayman
S. I mean really - we've got a Boxster/Boxster S, Carrera/Carrera S, and the Cayenne / Cayenne S - so getting a base Cayman in the fold is NOT a stretch.
Too bad about the price - go figure that Porsche would be able to manage to sell a coupe version of a car for more $$ than it's cabrio version.
