How sad...What a shame.

I expressed my opinion and significant experience. I developed my opinion based on my experience. My way works, whether you like it or not...It is also the way that has worked for 10s of thousands of alcoholics and drug addicts that could not break the cycle of addiction and depression, came to God, and were relieved of both. I have seen the story play out 100s of times, personally...Those that reject God always have this nagging feeling, continue suffering from depression, or go back out; but it is those who accept a God concept (one of your understanding) and practice the steps as outlined in the Big-Book that truly get happy, joyous and free...my experience demonstrates convincingingly that a well-defined God concept yields true freedom from addiction and the oft accompanying depression.

I took my experience a step further than AA prescribes. I accepted the God of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob's understanding, or the God that inspired them; the philosophy inextricably woven throughout Alcoholics Anonymous...I accepted THEIR God...I entered AA as a practical atheist, a sometime buddhist and a weekend Hinduist...I was a drug addict, and alcoholic, a depressive and a rage-aholic...My burden was lifted, my eyes were open, my depression and anger replaced with love, and my faith aligned with the God of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob (Conservative Christians).

I don't care if you like it or not, for it is truth...I know this makes some of you uncomfortable...tough *****.
