I recently spoke with a lady who had moved to the western Nova Scotia area who said this winter (very mild) was the first one like the real estate agent described. I asked her what she meant. She told me the RE agent had said most snowfalls could be "swept off your walkway. You don't even have to go for the shovel."
Right! That's why I keep the Kubota diesel with a snowblower on the back.

In all fairness though, The RE my wife and I purchased our starter home from was a Gentleman. We had gone to him to be shown a place we thought we would like. He talked to us in his office for a half hour then said,"I'll take you out to show you that place, if you'll let me show you one I think will suit you better." We agreed.
In the end, we bought the one he suggested, because he knew his properties and had made an accurate judgement of our resources and abilities in that 1/2 hour time span. One day 25 years after that, when he was long retired, I met him again, reminded him who I was and thanked him again for his guidance.
I guess it's like lawyers. Its 99% of them that give the other 1% a bad name.
