We still have to do this in our midwestern market. If you want to buy something in our market, most likely I've already been inside it. I count on referral business.
We didn't see the boom or easy money like the coasts. The down market is going to weed out the realtors who can offer a useful service to their clients from those who just show homes and expect a big check. It's too easy to get licensed - I think California has half a million RE agents!
