yes, I am using a timging light, and the electronic ignition is just a replacement for points, it trigers on the distributor where the old points used to be...
we are talking old BRITISH enginering here.... not german (if it was german, I would not have the problem
...
BTW, how many german engineers does it take to change a light bulb....
if the light bub is german, none cause it will not break...
