During our spring break road trip, I picked up a signal from a truck stop that had nationwide access and a list of hotspots. I paid $5 for a day pass and downloaded their list. We stopped at all of their locations along the way back from Florida to Nebraska. There was one place in Missouri where we picked a random neighborhood and found a connection. For a year, though, go for the sprint card. A lot of truckers I know use it and love it.
