Are Metal Master pads really that bad?
I put some on my stock '84 Carrera last year and have noted that they seem to stop the car just fine but do seem to need more pedal pressure than the last pads I had (which I think were stock). Also, on a very spirited Mulholland run last fall while trying to follow Tyson, Jack, Nostatic, etc, I definitely noticed that the brakes were beginning to fade toward the end.
Is it time for a different brand of pad?
