I've had good luck with both the Repco ( Axxis) "Deluxe" and the slightly more aggressive Metalmaster pads. The MM even can work as a mild track pad ( say, dual purpose, including DE).
Maybe you have a dragging caliper or old ( flex portion) brake lines that won't "release" cleanly ??
