Good friend of mine married a Turkish lady. Nice people and wonderful country in many ways. I have major issues with the way they treat their women (killing them if they try to marry outside the culture in some cases) and its a typical Islamic group in some ways.

On the whole they're not so nice. Take some time to watch the videos in the PBS link I posted above and you can hear from their own mouths what they want. If you can read Dutch or Swedish, follow the links in
this article until you come to the actual newspaper articles and read for yourself if what he says is true. I've read some of the
English language articles that back up what he says.
