Breitling Forum is the one I've always used. Seems to me they have a pretty good archive section.
Dusting off my memories on this, I thought that Breitling said to never change the date within an hour of midnight because that would screw up the mechanism that changes the date in the watch. But, I culd be wrong on this because it's been a long time since I read the instructions on mine.
